My Life, Rated

It's Friday (yay) and I just don't have time to report on the many exciting adventures that occupy my time, so I'm posting a pre-packaged life analysis I nicked from Kieran's blog:

This Is My Life, Rated
Life:
5.8
Mind:
7.1
Body:
8.6
Spirit:
4.5
Friends/Family:
3.4
Love:
0
Finance:
4.7
Take the Rate My Life Quiz

It's a bit suspect as according to the post test analysis I'm a bit of an athlete who needs to convert to Christianity or something. Oh, and join a dating agency apparently. Cheeky buggers.

So that must mean you have a good body, yeah?

I'm curious about this quiz now -- gotta have a go myself!!

I did say it was a bit suspect! The fact that I am technically a non-smoker no doubt helped my score. I also claimed to not be addicted to alcohol, after much deliberating!

Nobody loves me! :-( Except my mum of course. And stray cats. And the bartender.

Surely that must count! You've gotta redo the quiz, James, because according to my calculations, those factors result in 0.9% in the 'Love' category.

Alright, James -- you're doing that silence thing again.....and that's when I begin to worry. Should I be worried?

Good to hear -- cheers, Gav. Make sure he stays away from those fags [I am going through a minor crisis here --- I was so goddanm tempted to go and buy some last night. But I must strong!]

I won't give in, Gavin -- not when I've come this far. And quite frankly, I was rather surprised yesterday after dinner because the cravings came just like that; out of nowhere. Alan had cooked a wonderful meal and we sat afterwards with a glass of wine and talked for a bit and that's when I suddenly became desperate for a fag!!
I had some more wine instead, naturally ;-)

I'm afraid I cracked, smoking-wise, so it's back to square one for me. Don't say a word Gav!

I won't -- it's a wee shame, but hey, I can assure you that I have also been back to sqaure one more than ONE time!! You gave it a shot [even a long one]; that's more than most smokers manage ;-)

Absolutely, Gavin. I couldn't agree more [and let's not listen to Yoda in this case -- what the f**k does he know about giving up the fags, eh?!]

James Thomson said...

Oh yeah, 'do or do not, there is no try'. Encouraging words, if a bit harsh.

If 20 fags a day he smoked, be as smug, he would not.

Anyway, I will *try* again!

Lilly said...

LOL :-D

That was my exact point, James.

You just keep trying; one day you'll get there. But before you get there, I may be back on the fags again myself! Who knows.....

In any case, I'm gonna continue with my efforts not to smoke. That's the same as trying, isn't it?

I agree on the mind 'trick', Ad. That's where it's all at.
