Nerdy gaming with OGame

Thanks to one of my colleagues at work, I have been diverting a lot of my attention lately to intergalactic empire building. OGame is as geeky a pasttime as ever was devised, and I make no apologies for loving this sort of thing :-)

I sense you are correct Gavin!

But I control 9 planets spread across 4 galaxies! I can't abandon my people!

JIM -- there's a distinct lack of recent updates on your blog -- oh, I wonder why.....

Does not OGame have a pause-button?

It's true, I'm spending more and more time planning interstellar strikes and planetary mining operations! Not to worry, knowing me I'll be obsessive about it for 3 months and then get bored and quit (until the next obsession grabs me!)

So it's not because you've been hanging out at the gym then?! Hehe ;-P

Hey Jim,
bloody long time no see...

...or hear...

...etc etc!

Playing O-Game are ye? well i stopped playing that and now play Vendetta (http://vendetta1923.com)

I do bugger all during the day now apart from play with either my son Kane, go shopping or use my PC! I officially retired from working for other people a few years ago - so now I try to relax during the times I'm not looking after kids.

:D

Dave! Good to hear from you! Hmm, Vendetta looks interesting, but no way am I getting involved in another time-devouring obsession! OGame has me getting twitchy if I'm offline for more than a couple of hours as it is!

So what's stiggyweb then? Apart from a big logo? Work in progress?

Stiggyweb is just some space i haven't done much with apart from use it as storage for some stuff.

If O-game gets you twitchy.....

...you should try Eve-Online mate - that gets me twitching like mad!

;)

I've seen the ads for Eve - looks like another galactic empire type game. I'm busy enough with OGame! Got my new level 2 nanite factory churning out bombers as we speak :-)
